Hot on the heels of our first two releases featuring King Arthur and Robin Hood, we're thrilled to introduce the star of our third edition: Ragnar Lodbrok (yes, the Viking who definitely knew how to throw a good party).
During our jaunt to Skjern, Denmark, the ancestral home of a fair few Vikings, we stumbled upon an intriguing old manuscript linked to Princess Auslaug, Ragnar's other half. This little gem provided some eye-opening insights into Ragnar’s life (who knew a farmer could have such a wild ride?). It’s not just history; it’s a gripping saga of his transformation from humble tiller of the soil to a fearsome Viking king.
This tale is not just exceptional; it’s cloaked in enough darkness to make a gothic novel blush, explaining why it’s been kept under wraps for so long...
In keeping with the series' vibe, this design fuses traditional folk art with a vintage colour palette that would make your nan proud. Inspired by the Ragnar Lodbrok saga, it’s packed with motifs that create a back design so harmonious it might just sing.

Our new, fully custom-designed courts proudly showcase key characters from the Secret Tale revolving around Ragnar Lodbrok. Some of these figures are already legends, while others have been lurking in the shadows of history, waiting for their moment to shine in this deck. The artwork in the Secret Tales series is exclusive, never before seen on any other deck of cards, making this collection as unique as a unicorn in a field of horses.
