Here’s how it goes down:
First, you split the deck into two halves—one for the Spades & Hearts lovers and the other for Clubs & Diamonds aficionados. Each half boasts a full set of Aces through Kings, because variety is the spice of life, right?
Participant 1 deals out their half and stops at any card that tickles their fancy. That card gets flipped over. For added randomness (and just a dash of chaos), they deal down to the value of that turned card.
Now, it’s Participant 2’s turn to shine. They take their pile and deal to the same value as Participant 1’s card.
Both cards are set aside, and as the suspense builds, you reveal the cards that were dealt before and after—spoiler alert: they don’t match! But hold onto your hats, because the cards the participants landed on? Perfect match in color and value. Seriously, it’s like magic but without the smoke and mirrors!
