Simply ask them to swap the first box with the second.
Slowly, they comply!
Then, have them switch the second and third boxes as well!
Not a peep from the boxes—because, let’s be real, they’re all identical!
Just like at the beach, you’ll feel an undeniable pull towards one of the boxes!
Point it out and watch as your audience opens it to find the pebble inside!
They’ll check the other boxes, naturally, and find them empty.
Everything can be examined!
It’s a mind-boggling mystery!
Effect 2:
Feeling a bit cheeky? Ditch the pebble and grab two lighters from your pocket—let’s say one red and one black.
With your hands behind your back, emerge with a closed fist.
Ask your spectator where the red lighter is. One chance in two, and they’ll point it out without breaking a sweat!
Tell them you’ve had this knack for colours since you were a nipper!
Hand the two lighters to a spectator and invite them to grip one in each hand, just like you did!
Now, face your audience again and, without a flicker of doubt, call out that the red lighter is in the right hand, and the black one is in the left!
You can repeat this little feat ad infinitum, and you’ll guess right every single time!
No one’s claiming that 10 Euro note! You’ve got nothing to lose!
