Chuck Leach of Chazpro whipped up a related set of coin cups back in 1995 (the good old days!). I spotted them in the July 1995 edition of Genii Magazine, with the headline: "Introducing Chuck Leach's Leprechaun Cups". The Leprechaun Cups came in three fab varieties. The Shamrock Cup is a bit like a slot-box Okito box—taller, mind you—and it can hold back several coins at once (up to five, if you’re counting). You can let them out one by one or in delightful little clusters, all according to your whimsy. The Lots-A-Coins cup offers a "Lota Bowl" effect for coins, releasing up to 9 coins—one at a time or all at once if you fancy going big. The Leprechaun Sucker Cup ties the set together, looking just as snazzy, but it’s a bit of a tease (too narrow for any coins, and definitely not gimmicked).
