- Keith Barry

"Lewis has packed this book with the kind of powerful, workable, commercial magic that we dream of."
- R. Shane

Sleight Indiscretions features:

  • Rorscharch's Card: A spectator witnesses a card mentally projected by another that slowly emerges from a chaotic mess of lines and 'blobs'. Yes, it’s as cool as it sounds.
  • The Possessed Card: A freely chosen card eerily rotates by itself in the center of the table—no strings attached. It’s then handed out for examination. Cue the gasps.
  • Final Transmission: Three cards are selected and placed face down, while another spectator names them correctly with their eyes closed. Spoiler alert: It’s not mind reading, but it sure feels like it.
  • 13 Steps up the Garden Path: A spectator hides the deck, picks a card, places it face up anywhere in the pack, and then shuffles it under the table. You then name their card like a mind reader on caffeine.
  • The Old "Card at any Number" Trick: Two decks, two spectators. One chooses a deck while the other names a number between 1 and 52, no funny business. The chosen deck is shown to be all different and voilà—when they deal down, it’s the same card the other spectator had in their case. Mind blown.
  • Missing: A spectator thinks of a value for a blank card that they insert into the deck. When spread, the blank card shows up in its rightful place amidst a new deck order. It’s like magic, but with a twist of mentalism.
  • Instant Visual Signed Transposition: A signed card visually changes places with another. (Thanks to "The Bluffer's Card Change" for the assist!)
  • Oil and Jokers: Red and black cards are mixed up, only to separate themselves time and time again. But on the third mixing? All Jokers. Classic misdirection with a twist.
  • Right Card Wrong Pack: A signed card returns to the pack, changes color, and the rest of the deck turns blank. Cue the confusion!
  • All Decks are Marked: The spectator shuffles and cuts their deck. You still manage to name cards from the center of face-down piles and reveal a card at a freely chosen position. How do you do it? That’s for you to figure out.
  • Picture Perfect Remote Viewing: Spectator looks at a set of photographs while you’re facing away. You then name the images and impressions of their chosen photo, wrapping it up by revealing the correct location. It’s like you’ve got eyes in the back of your head.
