You hand out 8 unique socks to 8 lucky audience members, who clutch them like prized possessions.
Each person gets to drape their sock over your arms, creating a veritable sock buffet—just make sure no one’s sock is overlapped (we wouldn’t want a sock traffic jam, would we?).
Next, a random audience member gets to play judge and eliminate the socks from one of your arms. They pick their favourite to drop into the hamper. Then another brave soul gets to decide whether to toss the odd or even socks. Whatever they choose goes straight into the hamper. It’s down to the last two socks, and you invite a final participant to make the big decision. They pick one, and you dramatically announce it’s an EXACT MATCH! (cue the laughter as you reveal your bare ankle—talk about a sock tease!).
Then, you lift your other trouser leg to unveil... the MATCHING SOCK!
