The place: Las Vegas, Nevada.
The subject: The ever-elusive sleight-of-hand wizard, Mr. JC James.
The project: Sparks.
The Objective: Fire up your imagination and creativity with a collection of impromptu miracles featuring rubber bands, coins, cards, and dollar bills. These are real-world, battle-tested routines straight from the toolkit of one of Europe’s busiest pros. Here's what you get:
Spin: Make a borrowed pencil, pen, or Sharpie vanish and reappear with a flourish at your fingertips using a slick new technique. Seriously, you’ll be performing this one just moments after you hit play.
Latex Slydini: Channeling the great Slydini, here’s a routine where a borrowed rubber band is casually placed into your hand while spectators hold your wrists to keep things legit. When you open your hand, that rubber band has COMPLETELY vanished, only to be replaced by something else—like a dollar bill, a pack of matches, or a folded playing card. And yes, this can be done NAKED!
POG Production: Watch as four aces leap from a tabled deck right into your hand with just a touch of an ungimmicked pack. It’s a killer way to kick off a four ace routine.
Wave Change: A smooth transformation of one playing card into another that happens right at chest height. It's a breeze to perform and looks way better live than on camera. Your audience will be eating it up!
ACAP (As Close As Possible): Four cards are laid face up in different spots in the deck. They get squared and tabled, and without any funny business, they magically regroup in the center of the deck.
Fake Tilt: As the name suggests, this is a stunningly beautiful take on the tilt, and it’s definitely got an unorthodox flair. Includes variations for both single and multiple cards.
CHLAK: A unique 4-for-4 switch that boasts both natural timing and a striking aesthetic. You’ll learn how to use it to produce four of a kind, for a collector’s routine, and even for a phone number prediction.
Fan Change: It looks like you’re using a gimmick to perform a color change of a card in a fan, but guess what? It’s completely impromptu.
Clean Transpo: A lightning-fast two-card transposition. A card in your hand instantaneously swaps places with the top card of the deck.
Drunken Production: Get ready for a crowd-pleaser. This one’s unique, bold, and delightfully offbeat. It’s a visually striking production of a four of a kind, followed by a wild transformation into something else. If you’re working behind a table, don’t miss out on this one.
UnSleeve: A clever method to vanish and reproduce a coin right in the spectator's outstretched hand.
Behind the Force: A crafty way to influence a playing card selection that’ll have you grinning.
T2P: A dynamic routine that’s bound to earn some gasps from your audience. A card is freely selected and signed. The magician claims he’ll make the card magically travel to his pocket. As he waves over the card, it starts to vanish, piece by piece. When the spectator says stop, he removes his hand to reveal only part of the card is left. The spectator reaches into the magician’s pocket to find the rest of the SIGNED card waiting for them!
