A universe of wonder, all packed into a handful of cards. Magic shouldn’t just be about creating wonder; it should be a unique experience for your audience (because nobody likes being bored, right?).

This is STELLAR BY DERRICK CHAN.

It kicks off by casually removing a rubber band from the postcards and slipping it onto their wrist. (Shhh... this cheeky little move sets the stage for the grand finale!) As you chat away, the spectator gets to trust their instincts and pick one of the postcards.

Then, like a good magician, you reveal that the poem on the back of the "Perspective" postcard has already predicted their choice of Star. Oh, and by the way, the first letter of each poem spells out S, T, A, R. But wait, there’s more: when you bring the remaining four postcards together, they form the letters S, T, A, and R. Talk about a reveal!

The real kicker comes at the end, when you ask the spectator to envision that rubber band as a shooting star, inviting them to close their eyes and make a wish. Suddenly, that rubber band morphs into the shape of a star. In that moment, magic transcends the impossible and becomes something genuinely touching (and let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a good wish?).

STELLAR isn’t just another prediction trick. From the prophecy nestled in the poetry to the visual delights hidden within the images, it’s an immersive five-minute odyssey. It takes the vague notion of "chance" and morphs it into a layered revelation of certainty. Plus, it’s a blessing your audience can carry home (because who doesn’t like a bit of magic in their pocket?).

We hope this brings a special, heartwarming experience to everyone you encounter.
