Sucker Card Box by Mr. Magic

A cracking little trick for the kiddos, but don’t be fooled — it’s got plenty of adult appeal too!

Present a charming wooden frame with two doors. Slip a card into the left door and declare that you’ll make it vanish. Give the box a cheeky tilt to the right, and your audience will hear the card sliding over (cue the gasps). Open the left door and voilà, the card has disappeared! Naturally, the crowd wants to see the right door, and you give them what they want — they were right to suspect you! The card is lounging on the right side.

There’s a right kerfuffle as you keep opening the wrong door, building the tension (and the chuckles) as you tease them. Finally, you swing both doors wide open — poof! The card has VANISHED! It’s a riot for all involved.
