Introducing Supervisor by Radek Hoffman and Alan Wong

Supervisor is a delightful and straightforward routine that makes you look like a right mind reader. Armed with just a stack of business cards, you’ll not only seem to pluck thoughts from your audience's heads, but you’ll also rope them into the fun.

What sets this routine apart is its relatable theme: Who do we aspire to be in the future? What’s our dream gig? Or perhaps... is it time for a change? This premise allows you to quickly bond with your audience and craft an unforgettable mind-reading experience.

What the Audience Experiences:

Picture this: you bring two spectators up on stage. You introduce a stack of business cards, each one flaunting a different job title—doctor, firefighter, clown, you name it. You split the stack into two piles, letting the spectators mix the cards and pick one each. They commit their chosen jobs to memory and return the cards to the heaps, which you then shuffle again—everything seems as fair as a coin toss.

You then read the first spectator's mind and reveal the job they were thinking of. But with the second spectator, things get a bit trickier. You explain that their thoughts are a tad more elusive, so you switch tactics: they write down their chosen profession in large capital letters on a pad, keeping it under wraps.

While they scribble, you invite a third spectator (let’s say someone from the front row) to shout "stop" as you flip through the business cards. When they do, they memorise the next job title they see.

Once you return to the second spectator, you check if they've finished writing. They nod, and you ask them to close their eyes and visualise the actions linked to their chosen profession. For instance, if they picked juggler, they’d imagine tossing balls into the air. As they mime these actions, you interpret them and mirror their movements for the audience, turning it into a hilariously engaging guessing game. After a few moments, the entire audience nails the profession—and it's spot-on with what the spectator wrote down!

As a final kicker, you reveal the job the third spectator picked, doing so in a personal and heartfelt manner that brings the whole routine to a powerful finish.

What Makes Supervisor Special:

This is a three-phase routine packed with audience interaction and mind-blowing revelations. The method is deceptively simple—it looks like a genuine mental miracle. No need to stress over tricky sleights or memory gymnastics. You can focus entirely on delivering a top-notch performance that your audience will remember.

Supervisor is crafted for mentalists and magicians who want to present impactful and thought-provoking mentalism that resonates long after the show wraps up.
