Effect: So, here’s the deal: a spectator signs a card, tosses it back into the deck, and the fun begins. The performer produces a brown string shopping bag (yes, that’s right), and the spectator drops the cards right in. Forget fancy swords; instead, our magician pulls out a hefty wooden stake, sharpened to a point (we’re all about safety here, folks). With a comedic flair, they bang it on the floor and shake the bag. The spectator names their card, and with a dramatic thrust, the stake pierces through the bottom of the bag. What could possibly go wrong? Spoiler alert: nothing!
The best part? When the stake comes back out, it’s got a card impaled on it – just a slim border left.
