Harry Yang has always been keen on mixing balloon animals with magic (because who doesn’t love a bit of whimsy?). After quite a bit of trial and error, he’s come up with The Dog, a delightful and interactive routine that's just the ticket for parties and children's shows.
Here’s the gist: a spectator picks two cards and puts them back into the deck. You then twist a balloon into a charming little dog, toss the cards and the balloon pooch into a paper bag, and give it a good shake. When you pull out the balloon dog, it “finds” one of the cards with its adorable “paws.” As the audience is left pondering the whereabouts of the second card, you casually yank off the dog’s “tail,” give it a shake, and voilà—the second card is revealed inside the tail! (Dog’s got skills, eh?)
