Two tricks, two methods, one bargain! One relies on a special custom deck, while the other lets you use your own deck. One's a Fly; the other's a Bee. You choose when to unleash the madness.
THE FLY
A spectator picks a card, and off it goes into the deck. Time to have some fun! You boldly declare that you’ll cut straight to their card. You lift a chunk of the deck, revealing a house fly lounging atop one card. Panic ensues as you grab the rest of the deck and swat it down like a pro. When the dust settles, there’s a squished fly stuck to the card it was lounging on, and shockingly, also on the card that did the smacking! Turn that messy card over, and lo and behold, it’s their chosen card. This gross-out trick? Just an illusion (thankfully).
Thanks to the special custom deck, the hard work’s done for you. It’s a doddle to perform. You can even use your own blue Bicycle Rider Poker-sized deck if you fancy.
DON'T BUG ME
A selected card vanishes into the deck. You whip out an invisible bumblebee and introduce him to the crowd (because what’s a magic show without a bee?). You cut the cards, and the bee appears on the back of one card... but of course, it’s the wrong one. So, you give the little bugger another chance... and he’s wrong again! Now you’re really getting annoyed. You slam the bee with the other half of the deck...SPLAT! When you reveal the cards, one card has a squashed bee on it... and it’s the selected card!
