You start off by pulling out the 4 Aces from the deck. With the deck face down, you casually dribble the cards, sliding the Aces in face up at various points.
Next, you spread the cards out face up on the table, making it abundantly clear where the 4 Aces are (they’re the only 4 cards that are face down, just in case anyone missed that).
Then, with a flick of your wrist (and perhaps a cheeky grin), the 4 Aces magically vanish to another location!
Now, your audience is probably thinking exactly what you are — those 4 Aces must just be duplicates, right? (Classic misdirection, mate!) They’re still staring at those 4 cards face down in the spread, convinced they’re the original Aces... Right?... WRONG!
One by one, you flip them over to reveal that they’re definitely not the Aces after all — they’ve been INVISIBLY SWITCHED for a fresh set of cards.
