This is the effect that became his signature piece, and for good reason. It’s a completely in-the-hands monte effect where a Queen and two indifferent cards are displayed. No matter how clearly you fan them, the spectator just can’t seem to find the Queen. And just when they think they’ve got it figured out, she vanishes and reappears at the performer’s whim. The grand finale? The cards are laid out one by one to reveal that the Queen has disappeared for good. No extra cards, no funny business—just one incredibly clever secret.
