Now, the legend of Paul Harris and Tayari Casel dates back to 1979, when they published a set of lecture notes featuring a coin routine so brilliant it’s practically a sorcery degree. Enter: 'Twilight'. This is how it kicks off:

Twilight is a close-up marvel that takes a humble half dollar into the surreal twilight zone of its mirrored reflection. In this strange dimension, the coin is visibly shrunk, dematerialised, recreated, and then—boom!—it culminates in the mind-blowing "Twilight" finale where the mirror’s reflections morph into four real half dollars!

Twilight is a close-up masterpiece that utterly confounds an audience’s ability to separate illusion from reality. Trust me, it’s unlike any coin trick you’ve ever laid eyes on (or heard about from your mate down the pub). Twilight is as close to real magic as you’ll ever get!

Fast forward 40 years, and fewer folks remember this little gem. It’s become a hidden treasure among a select few coin magic aficionados. But those who have experienced it will wholeheartedly agree: it’s pure gold.

It seems to be as close to what real magic would look like.

Over the years, Twilight has had more iterations than a soap opera, but just a few months ago, we stumbled upon a version that’s cleaner and more poetic than a Shakespearean sonnet—‘The Moon’.

The enigmatic Japanese underground magician, Kiyoshi Satoh, has now made a name for himself among magic enthusiasts in China. We’ve just released his card magic book 'No Man Land', so our Chinese pals can appreciate the artistry of Mr. Satoh's packet tricks.
