Babel: Your spectators can read words in a selection of languages: Spanish, French, Greek, German, Italian, Russian, Danish, Filipino, Finnish, and Swahili! Want to verify? Have someone pull up Google Translate on their phone, use a translation dictionary, or ask an unsuspecting linguist in the crowd. Xenoglossia—the sudden ability to read or speak foreign languages—is an ancient marvel that even the Catholic Church has pondered over for signs of sainthood or demonic shenanigans.
One Monkey Ahead: A potentially disruptive take on the one-ahead principle that lets you seal your impressions in a clearly-labeled envelope, set it aside, and never look back! With a plethora of variations including Mental Epic and 4th Dimensional Telepathy-style routines, as well as envelope-less options where the words are penned on the back of labeled cards. Super clean and absolutely potent mentalism!
Person, Place and Thing. And Monkey: You lay out a series of labeled images depicting various locations (Germany, Suburbs, Forest, College...). A spectator secretly picks one and imagines that they’re there, with some object in sight. You guide them through an astral projection journey to this locale, detailing it with such precision that you actually name the object they’re thinking of! (No fishing, no scribbling, and definitely no pre-show nonsense).
PLUS, snag a bonus effect if you register for updates: The Murderous Monkey! You present ten cards with "Pick your poison" written on the back. A spectator chooses one, while the rest are flipped to show each one bears a different deadly poison’s name. The chosen card is then revealed to say "Cupcake"!
