It’s taken over a century to add this cheeky 'twist' to the Classic 'chosen cards in wine glass' effect, but here it is — not just one, but two signed cards magically pop up in a wine glass.
The Effect as seen by the spectators
You shuffle a pack of cards and have the first spectator pick one, sign it, and lose it in the deck. Then, the second spectator chooses another card, signs it, and that one disappears too. The deck is then placed (back facing the audience — you know, the card on the back is a nice touch) into a wine glass. With one hand, you pick up the glass by the stem, draping a napkin or silk over it with the other. Slowly, with absolutely no dodgy moves, you unveil the glass to show the first signed card having jumped to the front of the pack, signature and all. You cleanly remove that card and place it back on top of the deck, then repeat the whole process with the second signed card. (You seriously need to check out the video trailer to see the spectators’ reactions at the two finales.)

A 31-minute instructional video that walks you through 'Signed Cards In Glass'. All you need are some cards (plus a few bits and bobs you probably already have), a sharpie, a silk, napkin, or hankie, and a wine glass (with a stem, of course) that fits your cards comfortably.
This straightforward and incredibly compelling effect is accessible for most, even if you’re just starting out — but like all magic, a bit of practice will turn your 'trick' into proper magic.
