Effect:
The magician begins by spinning a yarn about an abandoned house where a family once dwelled. One day, whilst strolling through the city (probably avoiding the zombie apocalypse), our hero stumbles upon a family album left at the door.
With a flourish, the magician reveals the album and introduces the kids to the family: “Dad, mum, siblings, the twins, grandparents, the dog, and the cat.” A wholesome lot, until legend has it they vanished after turning into zombies... Do you believe in zombies? (I certainly don’t!)
As our magician flips through the album, something peculiar happens: the family photos gradually transform into zombies, but our unsuspecting magician remains blissfully unaware. The kids will be in stitches pointing out the obvious, but our magician’s in denial. When he opens the album again, the normal family grins back at him, blissfully normal.
This playful charade continues, with the tension ramping up — a zombie hand pokes fun at the magician from behind the album, teasing both him and the children.
Eventually, the magician opens the book to find all the family photos mysteriously vanished! Cue the frantic search, ending with a dramatic sigh of defeat as he turns to set the book aside. But wait! All the kids can see the zombies clinging to the magician’s back, pointing and giggling away! Cue the laughter explosion!
