Pull three VIP plates from your pocket (don’t worry, they’re not trying to audition for a plate-spinning act).
They look identical – save for the unique QR-CODE on each. (So, no funny business here, folks!)
Before you kick things off, get your spectator to pop their phone on the table. You’ll soon want them snapping QR-CODES like a pro.
Among the plates, there’s one WINNER and two LOSERS!
Your spectator has two out of three chances to win! Will fortune smile upon them, or will they just get a big fat “better luck next time”?
After giving the plates a good once-over, your spectator lays them out on the table in a neat little row.
Hand them a marker, and let the fun begin!
Ask them what their ultimate dream gift is – a shiny new car, a fancy house, or perhaps a trip to somewhere warm? (I mean, who wouldn’t want that?)
They scribble their dream gift on a post-it note and slap it on one of the plates! No funny business here—totally their choice!
Let’s say they go for TRAVEL and stick that on one of the plates.
Next, they name another wish. Perhaps a CAR? You guessed it, they pop that on another plate too!
And once more, they’ll write down something else, like “A PIECE OF CANDY”. (Because candy is always a winner, right?)
Now, they’ve got two chances out of three to nab an AMAZING gift!
Time to take that phone and snap the plate with the “TRAVEL” post-it!
They hear a beep, and... oh dear, the word LOST flashes on the screen. No holiday for them!
It’s a 50/50 shot now! Let’s try the plate with the “CAR”.
Another beep... and yes, you guessed it—LOST again!
Both the TRAVEL and the CAR are off the table!
Now for the last plate, the one with “A PIECE OF CANDY”. Fingers crossed! They snap it, and lo and behold, the word WON appears!
You whip out a piece of candy from your pocket and hand it over. Well, at least they got something sweet out of this!
They had a 2 out of 3 chance of winning something spectacular, but alas, luck was not in their favour today!
And don’t worry, everything can be examined! Your spectator can snap each plate again and again to confirm they really had a genuine shot at winning BIG!
