WILD 'WAVE - Think of it as Part Eight-Card Brainwave (with a cheeky extra two cards). A sprinkle of Wild Card (watch those red spot cards morph into a Spade Royal Flush). And, of course, Poker — it’s like a riddle wrapped in a mystery, but with fewer existential crises.
WHAT HAPPENS: You whip out a small packet of cards, each one a souvenir from various casinos (because who doesn't love a bit of holiday memorabilia?). Spreading them face down, you let your spectator pick one. After gathering up the cards they didn’t choose, you reveal they’re all lowly red spot cards. But hold onto your hats, the card they freely selected is the lone high-value black card — oh, the irony!
Just when they think it can’t get better, you deal out the remaining cards for a five-card poker hand for them, and one for yourself. You flip yours over, and it’s a STRAIGHT — a decent hand, sure! But when they reveal their hand, it’s a ROYAL FLUSH IN SPADES! Cue the gasps. Everything is examinable — no dodgy stuff here.
