Back in 2020, we introduced SPREAD V1 — a totally unique deck of cards designed for a jaw-dropping visual mentalism routine. Check out the trailer above to see just how fantastic those spreads look!
This trick/deck/routine was a massive hit, with folks telling us it was the best thing they’d seen all day. We sold out faster than you can say "abracadabra," but thanks to our pals at Alakazam, we've made some brilliant tweaks that elevate V2 to dizzying heights.
So, what’s Spread 2.0 all about?
Spread 2.0 is a custom-designed poker deck (cards and box) that looks just like a set of souvenir cards you'd stumble upon in a gift shop (not that we’re suggesting you buy them instead).
Each card showcases a different global hotspot—think of it as the travel guide you never asked for! Your spectators cut the deck and choose 2, 3, or 4 cards to keep (don’t worry, they’re not going to get lost in the shuffle).
From there, they pick just ONE card and leave the others face down on the table (because who doesn’t love a good mystery?). You then proceed to read their mind and reveal the destination they’re thinking of.
But wait, there’s more!
When you spread the deck face down, their chosen location pops up as a stunning visual image (seriously, check out the trailer to see the reveal—it’s pure magic!).
Each deck includes 4 reveals, depending on how you decide to spread the cards.
