A LETTER TO SANTA! by George Iglesias & Twister Magic
After cranking out the hits "A Trip to Cancun" and "A Trip to Circus" for six years, George is back with a holiday twist that’s sure to warm the cockles of your jaded magician heart: "A Letter to Santa"! It’s perfect for your Zoom gigs and live shows alike, so you can sprinkle a bit of festive magic wherever you go.
Effect:
Picture the magician displays a bunch of letters to Santa, each one boasting different sweet gifts: beach ball, check; teddy bear, you bet; PlayStation, obviously; magic box, Monopoly; or even bicycle—name it, kid gets to pick their favorite!
Then, in a twist that would make Santa jealous, the magician mixes up the letters and makes one vanish—poof! It heads off to the North Pole faster than you can say "Ho Ho Ho!" Next up, he reveals a giant poster featuring Santa and Rudolph, living the high life with that famous letter in hand.
Now, here’s where the fun really kicks in. The kid gets to imagine traveling to the North Pole. The magician folds the poster, and the kid dives in to retrieve their letter, but oops! They pull out Rudolph's nose instead. The magician flips open the poster... and lo and behold, Rudolph's nose is MIA from the drawing!
But wait, there’s more! The magician folds the poster again, and off the kid goes—this time they snatch Santa's hat. The magician unveils the poster, revealing Santa's bald head. It’s a riot!
Finally, the magician takes a turn, reaching into the poster himself, only to get stuck on something. After a good yank, out comes Santa's belt! Cue the giggles from the kids; they’re loving this. The magician, undeterred, reveals that the letter the kid chose is still safe and sound, just as they picked it.
Now the kids are practically begging to see what’s hiding in the poster. The magician plays coy, but in a classic mix-up, the poster flops open to reveal Santa with his pants down! If that doesn't get a laugh, nothing will.
This is a hilarious and engaging routine that’s a breeze to perform. The quality? Top-notch. The props are built to last a lifetime, with a plastified poster that's as durable as it is delightful. You’ll appreciate the high attention to detail in every element.
