Feast your eyes on the latest and greatest from our brass collection: The Artistic COMBO Cups and Balls Set. This chop cup edition boasts fancy new machining tech that hides the gimmick better than your mate hiding their dodgy dance moves at a wedding. Plus, all three cups look identical, which is a nice touch.
We’ve made some cracking improvements over the last version:
New Technology Makes All Cups Identical
Previously, our lathe-based production left a little to be desired when it came to the gimmick. Lucky for us, we found a new casting method that sorted that out. After a few rounds of testing at the manufacturer’s gaff, we managed to seamlessly integrate the gimmick into the cup.
This nifty new tech means all three cups look and feel the same. Unlike those other COMBO sets that make you do a double-take, the inside of our gimmicked cup is just as fancy as the regular ones. For the first time ever, the magnet is built into the cup so well, you’d need a magnifying glass to find it (and we don’t recommend doing that).
More Elegant, More Stereoscopic, More Robust
The curves have been fine-tuned to perfection, thanks to a whole bunch of prototypes. We’ve ensured that every curve is aesthetically pleasing (no one wants a lumpy cup).
The shoulder beads have also been given a makeover, now looking uniform and three-dimensional — just enough pizzazz to keep things lively.
This snazzy manufacturing process has optimised the cup’s weight too, giving it a nice feel and balance in your hand (no more flinging cups across the room by accident).
The combo cups can even hold a tennis ball as a final load, with three working balls snugly perched on the saddle, even when the cups are stacked. Talk about versatility!
Made from top-notch brass, these cups are sturdy, long-lasting, and have a good antioxidant effect (yes, really). The classic retro style is complemented by a brushed antique finish that screams sophistication.
The set comes with hand-knitted red yarn balls featuring solid wood cores—ideal for manipulation. They fit snugly in the cup, ready to go. Each set includes three regular crochet balls and one gimmicked ball, so you can dive straight into your favourite chop cup routine (no faffing about!).
And don't overlook the flannelette bag; it’s a small detail, but we reckon it’s a nice touch. It’s like a magician’s best-kept secret (almost everyone loves Tommy Wonder’s Cups and Balls routine, especially that cheeky misdirection with the flannelette bags).
We’ve also thrown in a blue flannelette bag made of special fabric (no gimmicks here, just pure class).
