Background

So, there we were, minding our own business in July, when we stumbled across a video in Coin Magicians, the busiest little corner of Facebook for coin wizards. The likes and comments? Off the charts!

Even Curtis Kam, one of the top coin magicians on the planet, chimed in with: "That was fun, and magical."

Curiosity piqued, we had to check it out.

In this video, a chap casually lifts his left hand and—boom—a coin appears. At this point, we thought, "Is that it?"

But then he taps the coin in mid-air and suddenly—Ding, ding, ding!—a coin-clicking sound fills the room! He then produces another coin right where he tapped...

Sleight of hand? His hands were wide open...

Gimmick? He was in short sleeves...

Hidden in the clothes? Nope, they didn't budge an inch...

While using coins to create fake sounds isn’t exactly groundbreaking, this was the first time we’d seen it pulled off so seamlessly—it was like magic on steroids.

The genius behind the trick? Hoang Doan Minh. After a deep dive into his other videos, we were hooked. A few chats later, we struck gold.

After months of remote brainstorming across the globe, we proudly present - Audiokinesis.

What is Audiokinesis?

As one of the most diverse forms of close-up magic, coin magic doesn’t just fool the eyes; it messes with your ears too.

In Audiokinesis, we roll out one of the cleverest sound tricks ever: The Bing Sound. Created by Binh Nguyen and refined by Hoang Doan Minh, this method produces a "bing" sound effect with a single coin as if it’s tapping an invisible coin in thin air. The possibilities are endless, and it’s bound to leave your audience gasping for breath.

Hoang has crafted Audiokinesis into a system built around the Bing Sound, featuring three well-structured routines. It’s a nifty addition to your coin routines that adds a delightful layer of sound.

Audiokinesis comes complete with a physical gimmick and a thorough online tutorial by Hoang. He’ll guide you through everything, from the basics to three full routines that have been given the thumbs up by coin magicians far and wide. And guess what? No gaff coins are needed for these routines.

If you’re hunting for something a bit different in your coin magic and want to leave a lasting impression, look no further.

Three Routines

Ant-Man and the Ghost

Bring to life the plot of "Ant-Man and the Wasp" using a silver and a copper coin. The Bing Sound elevates each moment, making it feel like the ultimate sci-fi showdown. The climactic ending fits the theme like a glove.

Hoang Coin Across

Make three coins appear from thin air, one after the other, in Hoang's distinctive style, as they travel from one hand to another. This routine is packed with subtleties that’ll keep your audience guessing.

Invisible Visible

Produce and vanish three coins one by one. With that added sound dimension, the appearance and disappearance of coins become even more mind-boggling.

And remember, no gaff coins are needed to pull off these routines.
