John Bannon's PAINT IT BLANK is one of those tricks that’s powerful and, let’s be honest, ridiculously easy to pull off. You ask your spectator to clear their mind—yes, completely blank. Then, they THINK of ANY card. No sneaky forces, no convoluted restrictions, no pre-show shenanigans, and certainly no mind-reading required—just a good old-fashioned thought!
Now, here’s where it gets fun: you tell your brave volunteer that their 'invisible card' has magically appeared. Despite their probably justified scepticism, you whip out their 'invisible card' from the deck and slide it between two face-up jokers. In a blink, a REAL blank card pops up between the jokers (just like their now-blank mind!).
And then, whilst it’s still in the SPECTATOR’S HANDS, that blank card springs to life and transforms into the card they just THOUGHT OF! AND IT’S EXAMINABLE! (Plus, you’re reset and left with a regular deck—bonus!)
