Here’s the lowdown:
You kick things off by inviting your spectator to IMAGINE a deck of playing cards. They’re shuffling those imaginary cards in their head like pros, and then you ask them to pick a card in their mind. Once they’ve got their card firmly locked in, you casually point to a deck that’s been chilling on the table, untouched by your magician’s hands. You invite the spectator to crack open the deck—no peeking from you, mind—and spread through it to find their chosen card. They pull it out, and then you turn the deck over to reveal that all the cards are red, except for one cheeky card. Lo and behold, it’s the very card they merely thought of, flaunting a blue back!
