Flashback to 1970: Jerry's Nugget Casino had the bright idea to print this deck, which has since morphed into one of the most sought-after card collections, courtesy of the United States Playing Card Company (USPCC). They made them for the casino tables but decided they were too good for the limelight and tossed them into storage for two decades! Enter Lee Asher, card aficionado, who spotted their potential and started spreading the word. Fast forward, and Jerry's Nuggets have achieved legendary status.
Fast forward to the fall of 1999—those cards vanished from shelves faster than you can say “sleight of hand,” but the demand just wouldn’t quit. Authentic Jerry's Nuggets are now the crème de la crème of pricey modern decks. After a relentless three-year quest, we’ve struck a deal with Jerry's Nugget Casino and Expert Playing Card Company to resurrect these gems!
In homage to the originals, we’re rolling them out on USPCC’s Premium stock (previously known as Bee stock).
We’re THIN CRUSHING this stock to match the classic Jerry's card thickness. And while they may feel a tad different, we’ve jazzed them up for the modern magician's flair. They’re just the right amount of thin for today’s sleights, flourishes, and cardistry. Trust us; you’re gonna dig these cards!
