1. Does CUBE FX use gimmicked Rubik's Cubes? The bulk of the routines and ideas are based on non-gimmicked speed cubes. Some of John George's bonus routine does use a well-known gimmicked Rubik's Cube that many already recognise. Karl Hein's routine has a special gimmick for the final phase too, but it’s totally optional (no pressure!).
2. Will CUBE FX come with a speed cube? Nope. The creators opted not to include a speed cube to keep product and shipping costs low. But if you haven't got a Rubik's Cube yet, worry not! There's a section on the DVDs that covers the different types of Rubik's Cubes and how to acquire one.
3. How difficult is Cube FX to perform? CUBE FX has a variety of Rubik's Cube magic routines at different skill levels. If you're just starting out or after a quick effect, there are plenty of accessible tricks for you. For those with a bit more experience, there are routines that will require a bit of practice.
4. Do you need to be able to solve a Rubik's Cube to do Cube FX? Not absolutely necessary, but knowing how to solve one is a solid recommendation. You’ll likely make a few mistakes along the way, but don’t fret! The DVD set includes a guide on solving the cube, and if that fails, it even shows how to take apart and reassemble speed cubes easily. This DVD taught Karl Hein how to solve the cube in one (very long!) day.
5. How many magic tricks are taught on CUBE FX? There are well over a dozen unique Rubik's Cube magic tricks demonstrated throughout the various routines, plus extra tricks and a wealth of ideas and variations.
