With the system and routines laid out in this book, my daughter Camila wowed the legendary Patrick Page with one of her first tricks when she was just six years old. That day, I realised the curly, non-curly system was a hidden gem in the magic world, thanks to the brilliant Alejandro Maneffa. I got cracking with it straight away and had a blast with extraordinary results back in the late 90s. Oh, and the brilliant Gaby Pareras? He teaches this routine to his students as "the trick that Tango's daughter used to fool Patrick Page."
After 25 years of applause from audiences around the globe (and a few bewildered faces), I finally decided to put pen to paper and publish this book. A shoutout to my great mate, Tim Trono, who nudged me to film a video about this back in 2010, which we cheekily called "The Unmemorized deck." It was a smash hit back in the days of DVDs (remember those?).
