After mixing the envelopes at will, the hypnotist suggests to the participant that they’ve gained x-ray vision powers, enabling them to see through the envelopes to discern the right colours.
Once the envelopes are marked under full view, according to what the spectator thinks are the RED, BLUE, and YELLOW colours, they’re left holding only ONE envelope. The hypnotist asks them to open it, and lo and behold, it matches the GREEN card!

SHUFFLED tarot pack and sets them face up on the table, hiding them from the performer but visible to the others. Each participant is then asked to mentally select a card—no writing, just a thought. They can all think of different cards, or the same one; no sharing is allowed. They’re to keep their selections locked away in their minds. The performer doesn’t see the five cards at any point.
