Brace yourself for a whirlwind of mind-bending marvels, all courtesy of the legendary Larry Becker, a name synonymous with top-notch mentalism (and a hefty dose of cleverness). This DVD showcases Larry dazzling a live audience for a solid 40 minutes, followed by an insightful breakdown of the routines, strategies, and clever tricks that make them tick. While these performances are beautifully staged, many are equally at home in a parlor or close-up setting.

Here’s what you can expect:

H.G. Wells' Time Machine: An audience member plucks a year from the seventeenth century (no time travel required) and scribes it on an envelope containing a modern coin. The envelope, firmly in their grasp, remains in full view, only to reveal an ancient pirate coin engraved with their chosen date. Time travel? It’s all in a day’s work!

Out of Body: A spectator randomly picks a card, tucks it away, and holds onto the rest of the deck. Without missing a beat, you confidently name their selected card with unerring accuracy (because that’s just how you roll).

Casino Royale: One of Becker's absolute gems, where a spectator randomly selects a casino chip, some cash, and two playing cards. An envelope that’s been lurking in plain sight is opened to reveal a prediction detailing the casino name, the amount of dosh, and the blackjack hand chosen. A little bit of magic and a whole lot of 'how did he do that?'

Kolossal Killer III: A slick update of a popular routine where a thought-of card is revealed by extracting a prediction from your wallet—held by the spectator the whole time, of course. Because who doesn’t love a good surprise?

Clearly Predictable: Before the show, a spectator is handed a prediction envelope and a newspaper’s classifieds. After circling an ad and initialling it (as one does), they pull a bill from their purse. A card is selected from a jumbo deck, and lo and behold—the selection is revealed in the newspaper. The prediction envelope then reveals the exact wording of the chosen ad and the serial number of the initialled bill. Talk about a solid prediction!

Calendar Caper: A prediction in a sealed envelope unveils a spectator's birth month and favourite card. Simple, yet effective—just like any good magic trick should be!

Ultimate Flashback: Larry's marketed effect where a dazzling array of mind-reading feats unfold using books and thought-of words. (performance only)
