Skilled, passionate, modest, and possessing a cheeky sense of humour — the man was a legend! In his all-too-brief life, he tackled everything from cards to close-up, cabaret, table hopping, comedy, books, lectures, and even his own magazine. Oh, and did I mention he managed to keep a day job too? (Because why not do it all, right?)
But let's be real; it was cards and close-up where he really shone. He pulled off powerful, original tricks with such finesse that you'd swear you were witnessing actual magic. The top magicians in Scotland would often make him spill the beans on his methods, just to bask in the glory of his sleight of hand — it was like watching a master at work, but with added invisibility and elegance.
