Pi Max is the latest incarnation of my mind-boggling memory trick from 2010. You whip out a pocket-sized book filled with the digits of Pi and confidently declare that you’ve memorised them. The spectator casually flicks to any page, announces the page number, and you effortlessly recall the first digits. (Impressive, right?)

Next, you ask them to toss you a sequence of 5 digits from anywhere in the book. And just like that, you start reciting the decimals of Pi! You’ll rattle off so many digits that they’ll have to flip pages just to keep up!

As a grand finale, you’ll ask for their birthday, say, July 14th. Then, with a flourish, you reveal the exact page, line, and position where the sequence 0714 can be found in the book!

  • No crib
  • No app
  • No peeking
  • No pre-show
  • No electronics
  • No accomplices
  • No complicated maths (This is the stackless version of Pi Max.)
Why the name "Pi Max"? Because I’ve simplified the method to the max for maximum effects (including 3 bonuses and 1 brand new effect) and maximum impact in your presentation. It’s now literally twice as easy as the old version from 2010. (You’re welcome.)

Plus, Pi Max lets you reveal birthdays in both month/day and day/month formats without breaking a sweat.

In the box, you’ll find the essential pocket-sized book, measuring 10.8 x 17.5 cm (4.25 x 6.88 inches), with a glorious 90 pages of Pi goodness.

Included is a thorough 12-page instruction PDF in English, along with video instructions (streaming online, obviously), and a link to a free online training app.

About the training app:

To make your Pi Max demo as jaw-dropping as it is entertaining, you’ll need to put in a bit of practice. The time it takes depends on how quickly you grasp the method and how dedicated you are. To make solo training easier (and let’s face it, more fun), I’ve crafted an online app. It works on Mac, Windows, or Android, so you can flex your magic muscles on your phone, computer, or tablet.
The app quizzes you on the various phases of the routine and even tells you if you’ve fluffed it. This nifty training tool is available for free online; the link’s in the instructions you’ll receive.
