Scary Book takes a well-known principle and spins it into a hilariously interactive routine that’s bound to entertain the little ones (and let’s be honest, the big kids too).
You kick things off by claiming you’re about to unveil the scariest book ever. Apparently, it’s so terrifying because it’s home to the most fearsome creatures and monsters imaginable.
When you reveal the book (phase 1), out pop adorable little critters that are so cute, they’ll have the kids giggling instead of screaming. Then, you feign confusion, like something’s gone awry, and you realise you’ve forgotten the magic word. Cue the audience shouting (phase 2). When you open the book again, it’s completely empty—no monsters, no animals, just a void of nothingness (phase 3). But don’t fret! With the help of one brave assistant or the entire audience, you’ll summon the creatures back to life.
Please Note: The book you receive may differ slightly from what you see in the promotional video. The version you’ll get features larger animals and monsters, along with a snazzy white border around the pages. Aside from that, it’s all good!
