If you’re into mentalism or magic (and let’s face it, who isn’t?), you’re going to be chuffed with this nifty little number from VORTEX MAGIC. PENILISM is a pen that looks just like any old pen, but it’s got some serious tricks up its sleeve. Switch colours from red to blue to black with ease, and guess what? You can write without any ink. One pen, four functions – it’s like the Swiss Army knife of writing implements, but less likely to stab you in the finger.
CONFABULATION - Now, what you scribble can be in a different colour than your final prediction, elevating any confabulation routine from mediocre to marvellous. Paul Romhany was one of the first to grab PENILISM and he’s now using it in his Dream Prediction Elite routine (he knows what he’s doing, trust me).

ANY DOUBLE WRITING ROUTINE - Need to double write? You can switch colours right in front of your audience without them batting an eyelid. This pen looks ordinary but is designed for mischief. It’s practically begging to be used for some sneaky shenanigans.
X-MARKS THE SPOT - This pen can write, then when you ask the spectator to have a go, *voilà*, no ink comes out! This is a brilliant addition to mentalism routines, from book tests to drawing tricks. It’s the ideal accomplice for forcing a word, a picture, or a number (because who doesn’t love a good force?).
WAYNE'S ENVELOPE ROUTINE - This little gem first appeared in VANISH MAGIC MAGAZINE and makes fantastic use of Penilism. You show an envelope with a prediction inside, jotting down a prediction in RED ink on the outside. When you open the prediction inside, it matches – and it’s in BLACK ink. A cheeky twist that takes this kind of routine up a notch.
ONE AHEAD - Brilliant for those one-ahead routines, especially if you’re using business cards to add an air of professionalism (or at least pretend to).
