Many magic producers have had a go at crafting prediction effects with timepieces. Some have done a decent job, but let’s be honest—there's always room for a cheeky improvement.
Example #1: The hands on those other watches always move clockwise to get to the desired time. Even the quickest ones take a whopping 30 seconds (who's got time for that?).
Example #2: The crowns on other magic watches don’t even have a magical function, and some can’t even adjust the time. What’s the point of that?!
So, we embarked on a quest to create the Perfect Prediction Watch. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t all smooth sailing.
The dream was exhilarating, but we faced some serious hurdles trying to cram all our brilliant ideas into one watch.
This meant building the watch from scratch, including the chip and layout design. We even had to custom-make the physical shape of the crown and tweak the gear wheels. Some components had to be invented from thin air since they didn’t exist before (thanks, science!).
You’ll witness how time and tech have combined to elevate magic as it evolves. We poured a ridiculous amount of time and energy into this project; there were moments we thought we’d bitten off more than we could chew. But, we made it through!
Our team nearly collapsed after all the trial and error. This is undoubtedly our most challenging project, but it’s also the one that’s filled us with the most pride and breakthroughs so far.
Five Historical Breakthroughs
1. It’s the speed demon of setting the desired time. The watch takes a mere 2 seconds to reach the desired time. Our unique asynchronous hand travel mechanism lets the hour and minute hands zoom independently to their target positions (no more waiting around).
2. It’s the speediest watch for establishing a connection. It’s always on. Bluetooth is permanently active, which means it connects nearly instantly when you launch the app or flick on the remote control. Talk about convenient!
3. It’s the first watch that lets you peek at the time. The crown can be pulled out for a spectator to adjust the time. Once it’s pushed back in, the updated time gets sent straight to the PITATA App. It’s a bit of a game-changer, if we do say so ourselves.
4. It’s the first watch to join the IoT revolution. PITATA IoT Function is our secret sauce. Any time written on any of PITATA’s synchronised impression devices (like the PITATA Smart WhiteBoard and Smart MemoPad) gets recognised by the PITATA App, which automatically adjusts the watch hands. Magic, right?
5. It’s the first dual-mode remote-controlled watch. With a powerful Bluetooth chip, you can pair the same remote as the PITATA Time Hacker for basic operations. Or, enjoy jaw-dropping convenience via the PITATA App. Both the remote and the App can be paired at the same time (multitasking is the name of the game).
